Can you imagine taking in a concert with this view?
Then Beth took me to Boulder for my first hike in quite a long time. This really was more than a walk :)
My fearless guide. |
As my reward for surviving my first Colorado hike we enjoyed some shopping, dinner and mexican in the adorable town of Boulder (now we're talking more my speed). I didn't take pictures because I was too busy enjoying my margarita...
The next day we took a great walk around Beth's neighborhood and then Beth decided to drive us up 14,000 feet in the sky.
The roads were windy and narrow. |
They tried to warn us... But we made it to the top and the views were phenomenal. Good thing the loss of appetite was only temporary. |
I really loved Denver and can't wait to come back and experience the skiing next time.
What a great weekend with a great friend!
