wine party

Last week in NY was very busy, but it was a great time. Good to check in on the office and see a few friends and nephews along the way.

Back in Charlotte, we hosted a wine tasting party this weekend for 10 friends. The tasting was actually a groupon I bought last year - (well before I knew that I wouldn't be drinking much wine for 10 months), but it was still a good excuse to invite everyone over. With the dr's blessing, I tasted some sips of the reds so I wasn't completely left out.

We didn't get any pictures once the party actually started, but here are some shots before any wine was poured or food was eaten.

Everyone brought delicious food and it was such a fun night. It happened to coincide with an energy surge for me so it was great to keep the party going late and not feel half asleep as I have been almost all the time recently :)
